he Halo™ UVX Ultraviolet Vacuum is the first in a line of the world’s only germ-killing vacuums. That means that the Halo™ UVX not only vacuums the dirt from your floor, but it is the only chemical-free floor-care solution that can kill dust mites, germs, viruses and bacteria living in your carpet and home. These are all allergens that can lead to allergies and asthma.

Our goal was to design a vacuum that exposed the family to the least amount of allergens. Bagless vacuums expose the user to the vacuumed allergens when emptying the bagless canister. Our Halo UV-ST Ultraviolet Vacuum utilizes an energy efficient design that delivers more power with less energy consumption. We achieve this with two strategically placed motors: one to generate powerful suction and one to drive the brush bar. The benefit of the dual motor design is that when using the brush bar, performance is never compromised. The motor generating the powerful suction is rated at 35,000 RPMs and the dedicated, strong brush bar motor spins at 5,000 RPMs.

The Halo Ultraviolet Vacuum is the world’s only germ killing vacuum, and though its UV-C technology makes it unlike any other vacuum on the market, it’s just as simple to use.

To turn it on, press the power switch on the handle of the Halo. Even without the UV-C light on, Halo delivers an incredibly powerful suction and has a 14-inch wide cleaning path, each allowing you to clean more quickly and efficiently.

When you want to kill germs, it’s as easy as pressing a button.

To activate the UV-C light, just engage the activation switch on the handle and vacuum your carpet as usual. Although it feels like a regular vacuum, the glowing logo indicates that the UV-C technology is activated and is instantly killing the invisible germs it comes in contact with. To deactivate the UV-C light, simply release the activation switch on the handle.

Since UV-C is such a powerful light, Halo has gone through great lengths to ensure your safety.

For example, the UV-C light is only operational when the activation switch is engaged and will only turn on when the vacuum is firmly supported by a flat surface, such as your floor or a mattress.
